The Blue Rock Byron Shire team got together for its first activity!

16 of us gathered at Clarke’s beach for introductions before our Kayak paddle to Wategos and back. It didn’t take long for any nerves to settle and for many of great personalities to begin new relationships, with one another.

We went through some training and safety and then got out in the water! A few of us came crashing in over waves, before having a quick stop over at Wategos, for Tim Tams and coffee.

On our journey back we came across Dolphins and a couple of Turtles, too! Dayne and Karel led the charge and came toppling in over a wave, and not too far behind was the rest of the group in similar style.
